We loved welcoming back some familiar Bethany faces ๐ Abigail, Noah, Monica and Mia, now students at Penola Catholic College, returned to speak with our Year 5 and 6 students about life at high school and the opportunities available at Penola. ๐ป๐ Our Kindys went on a bear hunt! ๐๐ป With curious eyes and excited steps, they searched all around the school for Bethany Bear. After exploring many different spots, they finally found him hiding in the Year 6 classrooms. The adventure didnโt stop there! They absolutely loved writing about where they found him and bringing their bear hunt story to life!๐โจ

Today our whole school community gathered to mark Ash Wednesday, beginning the sacred season of Lent. As we received the ashes and heard the words โRepent and believe in the Gospel,โ we were reminded of our call to turn back to God with humble hearts. May this Lenten season lead us to deeper reflection, compassion for others, and a stronger relationship with God.
